Awakening from the earthly stupor we call reality is quite a feat and an amazing experience. Some are much more receptive to it than others and I’ve come to learn that it’s simply because some are ready while others are not. I am a completely different person now than I was two years ago. In some ways we all are. Yet for many years my perspective changed only a very slight degree with each passing year. Suddenly, I’ve experienced an awakening with a jolt. It began when a UFO hovered over one of our group member’s home. It drew geometric symbols over the home, opening a literal portal. This portal however, was not for travel but only for communication.
Even the knowledge of the UFO didn’t immediately awaken our group, hard-headed as we are. It was when the actual communications began that we realized something wild and crazy was going on and that nothing in the world is as it seems. Some of us wanted to deny and just go on living in our own little reality where it was safe and “normal.” I was one who embraced my new knowledge and new perspective quickly. Now, as I awaken more and more and become more and more clear I’m becoming so very joyful…. and fearless.
Of course, awakening is a process. I compare it to swimming up from the depths of the ocean. At first you may only notice a slight difference in the light of the water…. from black to dark gray. Then you might begin to notice some algae or an anemone or a fish or two you never realized were there. It takes you a little while to digest (not literally, lol) these knew and wondrous things and you think you now know your true environment. But then, you look up and notice something in the water above you. It’s lighter up there, and there’s many more species you never knew existed. You learn about them. Some are wondrous and beautiful and some are very dark and dangerous. You learn how to steer clear of those. And you’re thinking, “Oh, now I know what’s around me!”
Until you rise a little further and find more amazing things. Each new discovery brings you joy and fulfillment and you think you’re finally awake, until you discover the next level. It’s when you realize that there is so much you don’t know and so much you need and want to learn that you can finally be considered conscious… and yet still not completely awakened.
So you continue to rise and to awaken and you learn to enjoy each and every step, basking in the beauty and love of light and knowledge. Joy begins to be your daily state of being. Each day, each minute, things are becoming more and more clear. The water is lighter than you’ve ever known and you’ve had glimpses of beings, amazing beings who live above the surface of the water. You’re so amazed and excited you rush down to your old home and try to tell others about the amazing things you’ve seen and learned. You are surprised that they aren’t willing to believe you or even at least come with you and see for themselves.
You could be angry or frustrated, but your new knowledge has given you insight and understanding and you feel only love and compassion for those who aren’t yet ready to let go. So, you head back toward the light and on your way you joyously discover that there are others who know of the light… some who are just discovering it and some who have known for a long time. It feels wonderful to be in their presence and commune with like “souls.”
And then, one day, you realize there is an amazing, incomprehensive, brilliant, bright white light above the surface. It’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. You can feel it’s warmth and it’s love. You are overtaken with emotion and overjoyed at what you have discovered. Your goal becomes a need to rise completely out of the depths and join with that light. And when you finally do just that, you say, “I think I know now. I think I understand.” You turn to the “being of light” and you begin to ask questions. The beautiful light smiles warmly and answers the questions. But finally, you ask a question and the answer is t
ruly awakening.
The answer is… “I cannot answer that question for I do not yet know the answer myself. Yet I know I will eventually, and so will you.”
Awakening is a process… enjoy every minute of it. At each end… there is only a new beginning.
Much love and light,
Lightflower
