Sunny South Africa. Alas, I have never yet met any ‘net friends in person. But I must say I have made some friendships that are so deep I can’t believe they are based on text alone.

Shanti, I believe that the day will come in the not very distant future where geographical bounds will not restrict us as they do now. I believe we are on the cusp of a grand awakening. Or anyway those that choose it are. And for awakened souls there is a simple understanding that there are levels of reality. The reality that we are all ONE is the absolute and ultimate truth. The reality that we are separated from one another by time and space is a low-level and transient “truth”. So it must be that we will awaken to the greater truth and be able to leave the “lesser” truth behind us at will. Then it will be so that we can be in each other’s company simply by willing it… simply by thinking of each other. I furthermore believe we will then no longer be hampered by the restrictions of these clumsy words we now use. We will communicate mind-to-mind and heart-to-heart so that there is perfect understanding. I believe this lies ahead for us all.

I like the word “communicate” it feels to me that it holds the concept of oneness (as in “unify”) so we make common our understandings by unifying ourselves. I know that isn’t the real etymology but I like it like that anyway. 😛

Shrewsbury, Shropshire and having great trouble with internet connection too at this moment in time, keep loosing connection all the time, so I hope I have time to post this before it goes again.

So I am not ignoring anyone, just can’t get or stay on line to read or post, when I do everything is so SLOOOOOOOW. Hope to get it sorted soon, been 4 weeks now and I really MISS not coming to this site and reading what you all have to say.

Zingdad, I too prefer the word communicate and I find I use the word ‘likeness’ instead of photograph too.

avatarbeing, I have relations in Shrewsbury, a cousin and his family, though I don’t know their address, just my cousins name, John Reece.

In April of this year, we travelled to Church Stretton to scatter my dad’s ashes in Carding Mill Valley, he was brought up there and loved it very much.

He always talked of returning, so we took his ashes there, sung our favourite family gathering song, San Francisco (flowers in your hair) and left flowers and a candle.

Shropshire is a beautiful place 🙂

Oh wow! So cool to see where everyone is from. I’m from Alberta, Canada. Nice province…a bit too cold in the winter, but beautiful summers.

Here’s a pic of our new place. We have our own little forest off camera to the right and log house with mountain views…it’s lovely and healing – just what the doctor ordered!

The Rocky Mountains are obscured by clouds in this pic, but on a clear day they sure look beautiful.

Anyhow, that’s my current home and it is actually temporary. I plan on doing some travelling as soon as Universe deems fit with finances and such and who knows where I’ll make my home?! South Africa maybe, perhaps Peru or even possibly just here in Alberta. We’ll see!
