If you got that message on your answering machine, how would you respond? Frenzy, excitement… dread? Well, please don’t worry, we won’t show up on your doorstep unannounced. Tune your dial to our station on your radio for the latest bulletins. By “your radio” we mean your awareness, of course. Do you know where the dial is located? Look in your heart. It’s sure to be found somewhere in there, amid the debris of pain and brokenness. You’ve been cleaning out diligently, though, haven’t you, so it won’t take you long to find it. Keep clearing. Don’t forget to cast an eye over the terrain of your secret heart, too. What’s that? You haven’t heard of that room? It’s like the guest room of the spirit, tucked away, closed off, only used for visitors. Time to open the windows and air out the mattress. We’re on our way, and we’d like to stay awhile, if that’s all right with you.
Pardon the assertion that we’re coming, but you have been asking us to for some time. Otherwise, we wouldn’t dare invite ourselves. We’re giving you ample opportunity to prepare. You have enough time to shop for essentials and tidy up, despite the mayhem dunking has been throwing at you of late. It won’t be long, and it will be fun, so bring out what you consider your party dress and let’s have a ball, shall we? What looks like the prospect of change for you marks the beginning of a whole new world, and creating a new world is easy with a few lessons. Gaining the wisdom to bring the best world possible into existence is a matter of clarity, consciousness, and certainty. Can you manage that? We think you can, some of you, anyway. More are gaining. It is only a short time until enough do to tip the scales, so to speak. Your trials of magical overlords will soon be over. A magical overlord is one who knows how to use your own power against your better knowledge, and they have lately been having trouble doing their illusionist routine. It’s not getting the laughs it used to from the audience of sociopathic talent agents and their mental powers are getting warped as time compresses and their tricks are revealed. Who are the sociopathic talent agents? Let us introduce you.

“Greetings, Earthlings. Are you becoming able to guess the plot as it thickens? Many clues have I dropped of late. Let’s see, I know you can guess what’s coming if I really let the cat out of the bag, but that would spoil the ending. Rather, let me clarify what you already do know. First, you are more powerful than you usually act. Second, you are willing to casually relinquish the driver’s seat to be driven by ideas planted in your head by television. Third, you don’t ask the kind of questions that would lead to your liberation from your beliefs about your powerlessness. You know these things, but you remain blissfully unaware of their effects on your day-to-day experience of reality. It can hardly be a surprise that bodies of water are rising, and various and sundry quite odd things are happening with your weather, considering the crash on your horizon. Your world is changing. Are you able to recognize that? Can you see? Nothing seems true and empathy has begun to penetrate awareness on all levels. Your most mundane activities seem alien to you and your relationships to people have changed. You have changed. Are you ready to no longer be pawns in someone else’s game? Justice is here. Soon you will be able to see more of the emperor’s clothes, and he’s not wearing them. How near that time is is up to you. Knowing you can create reality to suit yourself is the year’s hottest fashion. Fear and dark doom are so passé. Next year promises a whole different style, but for now this is the ‘practical radical’ look, modern and hip with a hint of quark as neon yellow — or ‘new gold’ — around the cuff. It’s so you.
“Before I go, understand this: You are not who you were, even a month ago. You created the present you find yourself in just a short time ago. Your future will be coming more quickly as time continues to compress. Pay attention to all your thoughts and all your influences driving thought for you. Dream your own dream. Reality belongs to you. Make yourselves happy, why don’t you? When you do, everything will change. Pray for peace. Voice your inner knowingness. Create.
“I bid you bon voyage as I prepare to leave for other dreams, as I fear I have no place in yours. You’re preparing to enter a new world, one which you will find to be of your liking. I choose otherwise. Understanding reached, there is no need for further quibbling about who can spit the farthest. Soon wars will end. I cannot speak for all who live by my rules, for some will, undoubtedly, continue to do their darndest to take what they can and want more, which they do to their detriment. Deal lovingly with them; they need it.
