The reason I’m asking you all about ET humor is because from an observational perspective, that is hypothetically if this event does occur, most people will probably react in fear. Think about how much violence and death the media is/has been advertising in regards to the news and the sheer number of horror films that have been in theaters in recent years. Then think about how people escape these nightmarish images of both the real and the imagined. The answer is simple, humor. But in addition to that, and probably you all have noticed it as well, is that comedy has now become both more informative and political. And people are more open or willing to listen, to information or new ideas presented this way verses the media’s fear mongering versions. Obvious American examples are the “Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” But here are a couple of other examples from youtube that I have discovered:
“The Chaser’s War on Everything”, Australian satire show, on a stunt these comedians pulled against APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation):
[youtube:1kjtvxd9]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAPLpHyBrlg[/youtube:1kjtvxd9]German comedian, Henning Wehn, on financial spending and investment:
[youtube:1kjtvxd9]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wJaCedLfdg[/youtube:1kjtvxd9]“That Mitchell and Webb Look”, British satire show, with a more cynical look on an alien encounter:
[youtube:1kjtvxd9]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oP-rkzJ6yZw[/youtube:1kjtvxd9]My point is that after the October 14th event, people are probably going to be scared and perhaps comedians may be necessary to bridge the gap between the people of Earth and the ET nations.
In closing, here’s another youtube video that is basically a mix of comedian clips, that someone has put together, which champions LGBT rights without discrimination (warning some mature language).Perhaps this maybe the next approach the Galactic Federation of Light may want to consider after October 14th to counterattack media hysteria. But then again this could be too much of a far fetched idea but I figured it would be worth a shot and I’m quite curious about everyone’s perspective on this subject.
[youtube:1kjtvxd9]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmo03avGu1c[/youtube:1kjtvxd9]❓ P.S.: A few weeks ago I had read an interesting article on BBC webpage about fear and politics. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7623256.stm) I wonder if this could be part of the reason why the Reptile and Gray ETs are the way they are?
Curious,
RachelOctober 6, 2008 at 11:11 pm #9539yigdadyMemberWell that was certainly fun to watch… lucky for me, I must admit, my wife and myself got married legally in mass 4 years ago. I will be 50 this month and I have certianly seen my times of trials and tribulations for lack of better expression. I do digress here though, as the point was do aliens have a sense of humor. I know all I have been reading as of late, one main point stressed by Blossom and others, is to most certianly laugh and be joyous. That is right up my alley as I have always tried to find the humorous point in stressful situations. I have yet to click on the last link to check out, so I will get back to you on that point, but yes I certianly think laughter is a very very positive thing. I can’t imagine a higher realm being anything without it. I have found in my readings over the last few days of channelers etc., humor does seem to come through from beyond. This I can relate to and has most certianly made it easier for me to get excited about the whole ball of wax! So, thats my humble opinion on this post of question!

There is great joy in the truth…Here’s another to add to the laugh track, Bill Hicks talking about aliens landing in Alabama!

There is great joy in the truth…Ha-ha~! 😆 That was certainly a welcome distraction from my finance homework! I’m glad some else shares a similar sense of humor. 😉
Which groups of ETs would they be? Or are they like everyone else in that it varies depending on the individual?

People are people, whether they’re on Earth or in the dark astral or skimming the stars in ships of light. All kinds of people, all kinds of personalities, and as many perspectives.
My experience with Pleiadians has been that they are a raucous loving bunch whose humor is part of their healing interaction. Of course, you can’t generalize across a specific “race” like that. That’d be like saying all people from Earth have messy handwriting.
Humor relaxes, so healing can happen. Sarcasm has the opposite effect. There’s a way of telling a difference when you happen to run across a non-terrestrial human 😉

Ha-ha, yeah as they say “laughter is the best medicine” so I certainly hope they do have a funny bone. I also wish you a happy early/belated birthday! And I too will be turning an even number this month, 22, but alas it will be on the last day of the month. Yes, I really was born on Halloween and my older sister would confirm to you, that I denied her a childhood moment. 😆

That’s very true. Although I haven’t ever had the chance or luck to meet one, at least knowingly, in person. 😥
It seems like a lot people here have made the acquaintance of the Pleiadians, what of people from other ET nations?
