Dowsing

So what is everyone’s choice of crystal for dowsing? I personally most often use a moonstone because I read in “Love is in the Earth – Reference Book Describing the Metaphysical Properties of the Mineral Kingdom” that when using the moonstone as a pendulum the energy of the stone interfers with the users and points to problems involved. Just a topic to get out there 🙂

Hi Sara!
I started with a rutilated quartz crystal pendulum, and it served well and true until the chain broke for the last, unrepairable time. I picked it out from a box, and actually it picked me out 😉 I really liked the strength of the energy of it. It taught me a lot! But then again, I’ve used all kinds of pendulums, including, in a pinch, a paperclip and strand of hair! 🙄

Yeah mine has broke once and I have repaired it. My stone also picked me! 😀 Don’t you love how the universe works! LOL about the hair strand and paperclip!!! Yeah I know how that goes! When I am around certain people or don’t have anything I dowse with my body. I stand or sit up straight and ask for my yes (which is usualy tipping backward slightly) and ask for my no (which is usually tipping forward slightly). I was doing that in the gas station one time and this little 5 year old girl came up and said….”what are you doing?” thoses little ones are so intuitive!

Hee hee, I do the same thing, except my yes is leaning forward and my no is feeling pushed backward… it’s all in how you program it!

…I mostly use three…one is lepidolite…one is amythist…the other is clear quartz…

…I have found phenocite to be a very powerful stone…I wear a quartz with three lithium phantoms…does anyone here work with stones ?…

I used to sleep with a big chunk of lepidolite next to my bed when I was going through some deep healing, pulling up shadows and such. It has a fairly big garnet (my birthstone) in it, too. Not familiar with phenocite…

My favorite for a while has been apophyllite. I was working with it once and had to lie down for a nap (yes, channeling does make you sleepy sometimes!) and didn’t realize it was pointing at the top of my head. When I woke up, I started writing, and got kind of a textbookish couple of pages on Egyptian ka and ba and other things delivered in a very matter-of-fact teachery kind of tone. I look forward to working with that again… sometime.

I have some crystals that have taught me a lot, but I don’t manage to find the time to work with them as often as I used to.

…chlorite is an Angelic stone…I have a clear quartz with chlorite phantoms that is especially soothing…
