When you want a good clean without exposing yourself or your family to unnecessary poisons, what do you use?
or,
What do you remember your grandma using?
Here’s my start to the sharing:
vinegar: I use this in the rinse cycle for laundry for getting the soap really out and leaving everything softer. I also use it after washing my hair as a rinse (I use liquid castile soap to shampoo, then a 25% vinegar solution I mix up in an old shampoo bottle to rinse… silky smooth!)
hydrogen peroxide: Again, this is just the regular cheap stuff. A blue stain from spilled grape juice disappeared from the grout in a tiled floor with just a little of the stuff sitting on it for 10 minutes.
baking soda: Excellent for scrubbing stainless steel sinks, etc to a shine–enamel, too.
Okay, your turn 😉
