“We used to think the connection was permanent and that solar wind could trickle into the near-Earth environment anytime the wind was active,” says Sibeck. “We were wrong. The connections are not steady at all. They are often brief, bursty and very dynamic.”
Several speakers at the Workshop have outlined how FTEs form: On the dayside of Earth (the side closest to the sun), Earth’s magnetic field presses against the sun’s magnetic field. Approximately every eight minutes, the two fields briefly merge or “reconnect,” forming a portal through which particles can flow. The portal takes the form of a magnetic cylinder about as wide as Earth. The European Space Agency’s fleet of four Cluster spacecraft and NASA’s five THEMIS probes have flown through and surrounded these cylinders, measuring their dimensions and sensing the particles that shoot through. “They’re real,” says Sibeck.
November 5, 2008 at 1:17 am #10878OrissaMemberThat is very interesting, Opalescent. I don’t remember exactly what Alex Collier said in some videos I watched a while ago but he mentioned that the Andromedans said that our gravity here on Earth in fact comes from the sun & not from the moon. So I wonder if the scientists may eventually find that to be the case & if this early work may eventually lead to that understanding?
November 5, 2008 at 9:36 am #10879UFOBelieveMemberWow this is totally awesome. Makes me think about worm holes and stuff instantly. There certainly is SOOO much more for us to discover in this wonderfull universe!!!
@Orissa:
Haha I’m no much into this guy, I think I know what you mean. He begins with saying that Earth, moon (artificial satellite, but still), all planets in our solar system and furthermore EVERY planet that evolved naturally is hollow. Then he says that we have a total lack of understanding gravity. The gravity doesn’t primarily come from the mass of the planet itself, but from the light from the sun. But I have NO idea how that should work, he himself gives in he has little understanding of this. xDWait, I have a nice big pdf-document of “Defending Sacred Ground”, here’s the paragraph:
I would like at this point to explain how the moon is supposed to have gravity. Now this is Andromedan science and it flies in
the face of our own science. But regardless, here is the Andromedan reasons for the moon having gravity.
Our sun produces a highly penetrating radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum. This frequency is
approximately a trillion cycles a second. This frequency is located between the lower portion of the infrared
and radar band. It is this radiation from the sun that causes gravity, not the planets rotation. I will explain
more of this when we address the hollow Earth. The Andromedan science claims that any planetary body
that is 29.3 miles in size and is exposed to a sun, is capable of a gravity field. Even if it is not rotating on its
axis. And later a question from the audience:
Q: Do you have any information that would shed light on the mystery of gravity on
this plane? Will it disappear when the frequency changes?
A: The Andromedan perspective on gravity is that it is created by radiation from the
sun. We are told that it is because of the rotation of the planet on its axis. They say
that any physical body that is 29 miles or larger has a gravitational field. They have
gravity on the Andromedan craft, and I assume that it is there so they can get more
done and so they are not just floating all over the place. As we move into higher
density, my feeling is that we will deal with a different aspect of gravity than the
gravity we know. It might be a different field strength, but we will have different
physical form as well. The I also found a description of him how it feels like if you would go deeper and deeper into earth, when you experience zero gravity and how it feels like when you arrive in the hollow body. I can paste that also if you want. =)
November 6, 2008 at 10:30 am #10880OrissaMemberThanks UFO Believe. Yes, that paragraph was what I was thinking of – that saves me having to listen to the lecture again. It was very interesting but it is 2 hours long!
November 30, 2008 at 9:33 pm #10881ZingdadMember…except he is wrong. No one ever said gravity came from the rotation of a planet on its axis. No one. Gravity is (according to science) supposed to be a factor of mass not of spin. Spin causes the centrifugal force (which is really just angular momentum but that’s another story). The point is the spin of the planet actually works against gravity. So he is wrong there.
But then I have to admit I’m not a great Alex Collier fan.
December 1, 2008 at 12:34 am #10882UFOBelieveMemberYeah I know what you mean Zingdad. I understand not much more than school physics, but I certainly saw that problem. But I guess he just wasn’t explained this in detail, he points out at several points he isn’t a scientist. So I can forgive that. ^^
December 3, 2008 at 4:14 pm #10883opalescentMemberI am much more a fan of the “new” Alex Collier, as in his 2008 video, than the one before his apparent baptism of fire, which he discusses in aforesaid vid. And I wouldn’t at all be surprised if gravity isn’t found to be a factor of love! The scientists seem still to be scratching their heads on what it is and isn’t… tho I do also appreciate the arguments of thunderbolts.info.
December 3, 2008 at 4:30 pm #10884WillMember…I have been told that…
…there is NO gravity !…
…that the Earth sucks !…
…(not my opinion)…
