What sort of festivals do our galactic families celebrate based on more of a community/ geographical/neighborhood scale and not on a planetary scale?
This topic popped into my mind because tomorrow I’m going to the NC State Fair with one of my friends. I can’t wait to see the goats, sheep, cows, ducks, chickens, pigs, horses, rabbits, etc. (livestock), the arts and crafts building, The Village of Yesteryear (where they have some of the older crafts like knitting, storytelling, and pottery), riding the Ferris wheel, looking at vendor stalls, seeing some of the lame side attractions like “The world’s smallest horse” which is basically just a pony. And lastly, munch on a few of my favorite Fair food snacks like corn on the cob, a giant turkey leg (which I always have to take home and can only finish it in a three days time period) and a funnel cake (that I always split with someone because there’s just too much powdered sugar and fried dough (I like to sometimes call it a-heart-attack-waiting-to-happen-dessert))! But I’m not really fond their fried concoctions because they sound so nasty, like this year’s creation is a fried Oreo, yucky! 😯
Anyway, I should probably stop being ADD 😳 and ask my other question, what sort of festival related activities do you remember liking or disliking?
That’s all I have time to post for today since I have a date with a take-home midterm for my Federal Taxation class. So I’ll be e-mailing responses to a few individuals that I’ve neglected to respond to very soon, I promise! Argh…why do we have so many weird rules and regulations in tax!? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh…Well, I hope everyone has a fantastic evening/night/morning/day! 😆
