MemberGreetings all!
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Finding this online community…well, I find I am overstimulated at the moment…with joy, interest…etc. There is SO much here. I will have to read through this forum, but I am taking this time to briefly introduce myself. I will add more later.
I found this forum/website quite by accident…by chance. I was on YouTube searching for “Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth”, when I came across The Book of Light YouTube channel. The rest is history. I couldn’t believe how much we are on the same wavelength…that is to say, with what Melanie said in her introduction video.
Anyways…I do have much to share with anyone willing and interested in reading it. These are exciting times!

MemberWell…for starters, I recently wrote a story. The first half is currently online. This story has much significance to my life. And, it would certainly be of interest to members of this community.
Writing it has not only saved my life, but my sanity. As the case with most all writers, much more was written than is presented. But, I didn’t want to detract from the point of the story. Initially, the “concept” of the story was just to be an outline of a story of which I’d write music/lyrics to fill the gaps with. However, as the last few months of my life have been very stressful and so forth. So, I started to work on the story, and it just took a life of it’s own. I followed.
The story is / will be short. The first half is up. I am working on a few songs to post up, and a few videos to accompany the story. Then I will continue the story.
Depending on the reception of the story, it will be left open for a “sequel”. But, it will be left comfortably if not. What I mean is…the main character has left for the journey, and has now crossed the threshold. The second half of this is to be his road of trials, and so forth, leading up to his revelation…the “message”. What a sequel would do is return him back “home”. For me, at this point, if I make it through the trials it’ll be a miracle! 😀
So…the first song I am hoping to finish soon, is what I call a “searching song”. So, as I go through some soul searching, and contact my higher self, (that sound right?), I hope to share the thoughts with anyone willing and open to reading such material.
On a side note, I have also come up with some further insight from this writing (of the story). It is not appropriate for the story, but will definitely use it in a song for another project. It is of a perspective of life. A sort of ‘making sense of life eating life to survive’ kind of theme. I’ll be sure to share that when it is written. 🙂
So…I will read through the forum, and website. But, because I am deeply involved with this story, I haven’t as much time as I’d like for such enlightenment.

And, thank you for the warm reception. I look forward to contributing to this forum. 🙂
Story is called, “Lonely Satellite”. Can be read at the webite (an easier read) Or at it’s original location at the blog below…which contains a glossary and links.
