Hi my friends,
alright, I wanted to recommend an AWESOME game to you guys. It’s called “X3 Reunion”.
It’s pretty complicated, it takes a while till you actually know what to do, but what makes it so awesome, is that it is in SPACE. It’s one of the best space-games ever. You have total freedom to move through a lot of sectors. What I’m doing most of the time is cheat myself (lol) a nice little army of ships and just go crazy. Okay, this isn’t exactly peaceful, but what makes this game so extremely awesome are actually its graphics. Most of the time I just play the game to simply enjoy the graphics.
Let me show you what I mean:
(The big images are cut in the middle, which is OK because of the high resolution.)
Everyone who’s just a LITTLE into video games, is just a LITTLE into space, space travel, space stations, and so on, should really, really try this game out. As I said, it’s a little tough in the beginning, but it’s just fun for hours to simply fly around and discover the extremely detailed space stations and everything that’s floating around, along with different architecture styles depending on the race and so on. You can also leave your current ship and fly around as an astronaut, and fly through the space stations that are miles in diameter, and discover every little window of it.
There are also two extreeemely nice trailers you should really, really check out (Trailers are usually better than just Screenshots), if not only because of the awesome music and soundtrack. The soundtrack also features whale singing! What a parallel!!
Here is Trailer 1: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/6638.html
Here is Trailer 2: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/7291.html
On the sites you can choose between Quicktime and Windows Media (Windows Media should work for most of you).
Other awesome videos:

Fight: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/8885.html (wow2)
Speaking of parallels, I read in some channeling that there exist worm holes in the universe that serve as some sort of portal from one spot to another, which were made by an ancient civilization, but noone knows today how they were made. Not sure if this information is accurate, but there’s the same thing in the game. There are big portals that connect the sectors, and it says they were build by an ancient civilization and noone knows who they were done, they are just there and work. ^^
I could go on and on about this game. Everyone who has a decent graphics card (you can tune the graphics to photo-realism [almost]), is just a little into games, or just a little into space ships and so on, should really try this game out. I assure you, it’s awesome.September 27, 2008 at 3:16 am #9201ZingdadMember

Got the game, UFObelieve.
Didn’t played it much as i am a bit stuck in the long process of getting money to develop.
As it is not my only game, it is kinda waiting for another time to continue.
With the current games these days you need a lot of time to play them, and with multiple games even more haha 😆
But it is indeed the biggest spacegame i’ve ever bought.
It’s a pity that it is not an online-game, wich i very much like.
There is an online spacegame with the same ‘WOW’faktor (EVE online i think it was) but it requires a monthly fee…
I don’t do monthly fee’s, so my choice became X3.
But yeahh….great game 😀October 24, 2008 at 2:57 pm #9205WillMember
…so this X3…is this a freebe ?…
…are those the links above ?…October 24, 2008 at 3:13 pm #9206UFOBelieveMember
No, it’s not free, but it shouldn’t be more than 10€/$.
The links are just some AWESOME ingame videos. You should really check them out.
Yes I’ve heard about EVE online, I was going to try it out, but currently only my notebook is working and it wouldn’t be able to do the graphics (athough it’s Vista.. xD).
Regarding monthly fees, there should be the possibility to go to unofficial servers. I do so with World of Warcraft. I haven’t yet spent a single Euro for playing the game. 😆 Unofficial servers are usually modded, so they make like 10 times the fun.
I’m not sure about EVE online though. I read somewhere there’s a 15 day trial available.. I think if I get my PC to work again I will check it out. =)
BTW, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSfSODv06SA
It explains how you can cheat yourself EVERY ship you want, it will be under your control, you can add it to your fleet or enter it. I gave up gathering money together a long time ago. xD
You can create the most awesome frigate (including Destroyers) and do MASSIVE wars. xDDD Or you can just sell them and get money. ^^ It’s very nice.
Have fun! Glad you bought it under my recommendation. =DOctober 24, 2008 at 3:22 pm #9207
