what do you use to treat assorted symptoms?
i use vinegar to treat heartburn
beano for gas (take a bit to work but works well) its a natural mold that absorbs gas
honey for sore throats/coughs
tea with honey to calm an upset stomach
saltwater for mouth problems (canker sores abcess etc)

I like to use raw garlic when I feel a sore throat coming on… I crush a whole clove and swallow it with water.

For sore throats I also use honey, but mix in some powdered cinnamon, ginger and a little nutmeg to make a paste, and nibble on that. If there’s any chest congestion, I use powdered mustard and ginger with honey. It really seems to break things up.

For fevers, hot toddies work wonders… I use hot weak tea with honey and a little brandy, then bundle up in a blanket and sleep. Always feel better afterward, with the fever broken.

But above all, I cannot do without my homeopathic survival kit! I keep key remedies on hand and have been learning and learning all I can.

i personally have an aversion to alcohol, so i dont use the drink kind. rubbing alcohol makes an excellent sterilization agent. also i use a cap full (the cap off the bottle of bleach)of bleach in the dishwater when someone is sick. helps prevent it from spreading in that fashion.1 cap full per gallon makes for an excellent cleaning solution as well. wear rubber gloves when you use it, unless you like bleached hands.

garlic is an antibiotic, and works well on colds/flu.also the germs do not get resistant to it.

i use jalapenos/habeneros for sinus problems including the stuffiness from colds/flu. the hot peppers release your bodies natural antihistamines causing the sinuses to drain almost immediately, not to mention you quickly forget about the sore throat you had a few seconds before. 😯

pasteurized honey also works well to heal minor cuts and abrasions, marketed as medihoney to the medical profession you can simply put it on the sterile gauze pad/bandaid to keep the wound moist, which helps it heal faster. raw honey may contain infectious agents so use pasteurized honey.
