Here’s a thought…. Why do they call it “light worker”? Well, you already a part of the light. Why do you need to work at it? To specify working at something means its like a job rather than who you are. For me, I like the term “light being” instead.
This thought has been brought to you by…. Fruit Loops cereal! Poisoning your children with sugary goodness since 1945.
August 17, 2008 at 9:08 pm #7468AvatarbeingukMemberLight being sounds good to me and I would personally like to thank fruit loops cereal for bringing this thought to my attention and to ask them to stop poisoning the children, it’s not good for business or our future.
I would just like to add that emissary of light as a nice ring to it, but does sound a bit official lol especially when the job can be so much fun, light worker does give the impression one is not up to heavy work or am I missing the point.
When it comes to thinking about my self I prefer to think of me as a light being or personified spirit rather than a light worker, anything really other than human being when I consider thoughts become things lol.
August 18, 2008 at 2:56 am #7469WillMember…I am a starseed and specifically came to this world to work…this planet is not the first choice for a vacation spot…I am a Lightworker…
…after this stint is up I know a nice little corner of the galaxy where I will hang for a while…til my next job…August 18, 2008 at 4:04 am #7470WolfpawMemberI have a point in all this. Words have a vibration and each word has a negative or a positive energy behind it. This is why I’m careful in what words I use and how I use them. Try the word “love” for example. It has a positive ring to it while the word “harsh” or even “work” has a negative tone to it.
I was posting this to poke fun at words and how they are phrased. So lets take a look at the word “work”:
Work: exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something; labor; toil.
Why do we have to exert ourselves when something that we already are should come so easy? It doesn’t mean that we have our rough days or times when we are truely tested. But to always “work” on something means that there might not be an end goal to it and there will always be exertion. So why work at something you already are? Thats why I choose to use the word “light being”.
Will, I understand that the planet is rather dense at this time, but I do hope that one day, you’ll see the beauty and wonder in even a place like this. I am enjoying my time here and consider every spot in this wonderous universe to be a vacation spot and a way to spread light into the universe. I came here for a reason just like you did and I take that rather seriously.
August 18, 2008 at 5:36 am #7471pleadianprincessMemberI think they are both beautiful terms and to each his own! 😀 Whatever works for you is just that…..what works for you! All of our different perspectives are what make everyone unique and beautiful! 😛
Peace Sara!August 18, 2008 at 5:18 pm #7472WillMember…Wolfpaw dear brother …we have more in common than you can imagine…
…I Do appreciate this world and can see it’s incredible beauty…this world is Very special…it is a *Living Library*…it has been set up this way……when Neo awoke in Matrix and saw everything as a computer program…I can look around and see this world vibrate with DNA encodement…every plant and animal…
…this world holds the interest of Many…for many different reasons…Terra is indeed the best show going on right now and there are observers from countless galaxies…
…work…
…I am a worker…I love to work…my *Soul Family* is involved with construction …as there are occupations in “heaven”…we are builders…I am not disagreeing with you only showing another facet of the jewel……this planet got off-track in it’s spiritual evolution and what has evolved is less than pleasant in many ways…
August 19, 2008 at 4:06 am #7473WolfpawMemberWill, it sounds like we are exactly on the same page! I see what you’re saying about work though. For me, my play is a lot like work and I take great joy in it. I guess my point in it was that people have a tendency to take a negative viewpoint on that word and therefore, it becomes more like a chore to be a part of the light. I was doing what you did there…. showing another facet of the jewel. Well said though!

I agree with you on this. There is so much I want to do make this world more pleasant, but where do I begin? My mind races with ideas of a light community, how that should operate, how people would work together in trade, how technology can be made to promote ease instead of strife, etc. I will say that I’m very thankful for this site and what Annu has done with this.
August 19, 2008 at 5:07 am #7474WillMember…amen to that…
…thank you Annu…
