It seems to be a part of the path hOMe to find oneself in a position of feeling like it is ones personal task to save the world… to feel “chosen” to bring enlightenment to the world… that we are somehow better then, smarter, more eternal, more wise, more ancient, more alien, more connected to all that is then some Other Earthling may be. We are here to bring a REVOLUTION! We are here to bring LIGHT to those who are in the DARK!  We are Lightworkers, chosen to save our family, our neighbor and our friends from their ignorant selves…. HA!Â
One of the many misleading lies of the New Age… that some are better then others, that some are Guru, and some are not. Though, eventually, we come full circle to realize the ego’s place in all of this…. that little monster that eats up all the recognition, that tells of seperatism and classes of human, that tells us stories and plays us scenarios of grandeur that are far from “real”. The ego would have one believe they are only One. We are One, One of Many, Many of One. We are ALL Guru’s! We are ALL chosen ones! We are ALL here to save the world and we ALL get an equal chance at it.. because it is not about saving the world, it is about saving YOURSELF, and it starts with realizing we are all a drop of water in the ocean that is God. Our power comes from our togetherness!!!! One drop of water, next to billions more carrying your same power of creation, equally powerful Christs, born of and chosen to be LIGHT… may we all see we are all Saviours, all Messiahs….and it is our job to make sure that we all know this.
With Love,
Shylo

Messy Antic Complex… a battle with self
In 1975, at 18 in my first year of college living in the honors dorm, I was taken into and beyond the Light that is referenced in spiritual texts and related to in Near Death Experiences. Some case studies also refer to the Messianic or Messiah Complex that can occur as a result. After being asked if I was willing to die for what I believed in during a meditation. I was told what I am here to do and then returned to my body with full consciousness of this ‘mission.’ What was it?Â
Yes, I’d heard a voice since childhood that was a trusted companion by this time and no, I wasn’t on drugs. The latter always seems to be a question, especially for that time period. I totally understand because that kind of experience was quite rare and virtually no one had an direct experience to which they could relate. I get that. Today, many Boomers are seeking to have such experiences of unity with the divine after spending a lifetime of chasing the almighty buck and realizing it just isn’t that fulfilling. Money can’t buy love, but it sure seems to rent it for a while. It is short-lived at best.
