I read in the news yesterday that a large scientific research program are carried out on NDE´s in UK at these times. They are about to place out pictures in the ER´s. The doctor in charge of the study had worked as an acute medical for 20 years, and said something like, that: “There is an phenomenon here we must look closer on, as this is an occurence quite often reported in acute trauma units and hospitals around the world”
Hello Annan , I have not heard about the report you mentioned , do you remember the source of the story you read this in ? I would be interested in looking into it more . Did the report mention just near death instances ? The doctor in the interview I mentioned spoke almost exclusively about terminally ill patients who he developed relationships with in hospices ; he cared for literaly thousands of people and maintained his care for them until their passing . He noted reoccuring themes in the experiences of these many people of every type of background , age , creed and religion . When he started to ask questions of others , they gladly spoke of these experiences and encouraged him to tell others of them . Take care , -Mark
Talking about NDE’s,my husband who passed away nearly 3 years ago,had one several years ago.
He was in hospital for a general check up for prostrate cancer, was taken into the operating room, was knocked out and the next thing he remembered was the nurse holding his hand in the recovery room.
He was sent home but didn’t tell me for several days what had happened to him.
He told me later that he was aware of being surrounded by the most beautiful colours he had ever seen.
He was in, not so much a tunnel, but colours were swirling around him like in a circle. He said they were impossible to describe.
He sort of drifted through the colours being aware of vague forms on each side of him. Next thing he was aware of,was being back in his body and the nurse holding his hand.
From then on,he had no fear of dying.
