…I was raised on a ranch in central California and at age 4 disturbed a hive that was swarming…my mother ran to my screaming and found me totally covered with bees…she sat me on the door of the oven to try to get them off me,the packed me in the ’49 dodge coupe and raced me into town…the hospital bed was lined with bottles of body fluid that could not keep up with the dehydration…the doctors told my mom not to expect me to live through the night…she said I told her of the angels flying around the room…needless to say, I lived…the number of bees was estimated at 5 to 6 thousand…I had bees inside me…
…the next week a neighbor walked out to her mail box,was stung by one bee and died on the spot !…
…I am not bothered by bees at all…in fact they act like I am one of them !…now wasps are another story…I have absolutely no need for them !…
